“For Elsie”

Directed by: David Winstone

Produced by: Gemma Priggen

Screened in the 20th Raindance Film Festival Best UK Shorts programme, this is a hilarious film about a piano teacher who has to teach his Russian student Beethoven’s ‘Für Elise’ in 24 hours, or have his hands broken.

Glen teaches piano. Things are not going too great for him. He is preparing to move back to his parents house, when a knock at the door introduces him to a life altering offer he literally can’t refuse.

David Winstone’s directing and Vincent Klueger’s writing is complimented by an outstandingly side-splitting performance, from Blake Ritson as the piano teacher. Olegar Fedoro is awesome and scary playing the father. Great casting and great performances makes us want to see more of Glenn and his ever unfortunate circumstances.  Hilarious!!!
